Good Morning Everyone!
Room # 28 is in need of volunteers for their Police Interpretive Center Field trip on May 9th. This is a full day field trip on Wednesday and without a few more volunteers we cant go. If you, or someone with a valid police clearance is available please let me know via email - [email protected]
Thanks :)
** Here is the Artifact Reflection for those who forgot to pick it up** Your artifacts will be built Monday/Tuesday/Friday next week! Be prepared with your materials
Artifact Reflection
You need to write a detailed reflection to accompany your artifact. Write with proper sentences and paragraphs. I am looking for a deep explanation, using what you learned during our week long Athens role-play and the discussions we have had in class. Use your reflections in your booklets to guide your work.
What does your artifact represent? Explain why you chose the artifact. What material was used to create it, why were specific colours chosen?
How was the government of ancient Athens structured? How did the structure of the government in ancient Athens provide opportunities for citizens to participate in decision-making?
How did identity, status and class structure (Social structure) impact its political structure? To what extent were democratic ideals of equity and fairness part of the structure of government and society in ancient Athens?
